The highest standard we can show you
Each piece is raised by hand from a single sheet of 999 fine silver with the shougong (收工技法) forging technique — recorded 1,360 years ago in the Tang Code (唐六典) among the fourteen imperial gold-and-silver crafts, where the basics alone took four years to learn. Wei Dong, who keeps this technique alive today, is Vivfora's Chief Craft Advisor: he sets and reviews the standard behind every piece we sell, including our sterling silver jewellery.
Credentials: World Crafts Council Asia-Pacific Award of Excellence (2018) · 60+ national craft awards · 80+ design patents · work held by the Guangdong Museum of Fine Arts.
What changes is the water, not just the pot
- · Silver is naturally antimicrobial — the reason it has been used for drinking vessels for centuries.
- · Water boiled in a silver pot is described by tea makers as softer and rounder, with no metallic taste.
- · One pot, several uses: tea, pour-over coffee and everyday drinking water.
- · 999 fine silver is soft enough to raise by hand and pure enough to leave the water untouched.
We describe taste and material facts only — no health claims.
