Made by real makers
Every piece is hand-shaped, hand-painted, or hand-thrown by independent makers and heritage ateliers — never a production line. We work directly with the artisans whose families have practiced these crafts for generations.
Honest materials & process
Each piece comes with its craft and materials told plainly — kiln temperature, glaze origin, hand-finishing hours, the maker's signature. No mystery, no greenwashing, no inflated heritage claims.

We started Vivfora because the best Chinese craft was being lost between workshop and Western buyer — lost in translation, lost in markup, lost in fake. Every piece on this site was made by a person whose name we know, whose workshop we've visited, whose craft has been certified by China's Intangible Cultural Heritage authority where applicable. That's the whole point.
